Kevin D. Reed - Vice Chair, Grey Horse Corporation
During the past 15 years, Kevin D. Reed has served in the President and CEO positions with
various public and private companies in Canada and the United States. Prior to founding
Grey Horse Corporation, Kevin provided management services and capital markets advice in
preparation for the public listing of a Toronto-based technology company. From 1999 to 2002,
he was the co-founder, Chairman and CEO of IE-Engine Inc., a private Boston-based enterprise
software company providing the software platform for insurance and employee benefits to
Fortune 1000 companies. In 1991, Kevin co-founded Magellan Engineering, a risk management
company serving the offshore oil and gas industry, financial services sector and governments
institutions. Kevin holds a BA in Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa and is a
graduate from the Canadian Securities Institute.
Paul G. Smith -
President & CEO, Grey Horse Corporation
Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer, Paul G. Smith had been Chief Financial Officer of Grey Horse since December 2004. Before joining Grey Horse, Paul held various management
positions at a number of Bell Canada affiliates including Chief Financial Officer of Bell
Conferia Inc., Director of Finance at Bell Zinc Corporation as well as roles in corporate
and strategic development at Bell Mobility and at Bell ActiMedia Inc. From 1991 to 1993, Paul
served as Executive Assistant to the Prime Minister of Canada. Prior to that, he was an aide
to the Minister of Foreign Affairs then to the Minister of International Cooperation. He
holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD (France), a Master in Public
Administration (MPA) from Carleton University (Ottawa) and under-graduate degrees from the
University of Ottawa.
